Here are some quick tips for creating great looking custom flipbooks from your video.

Video Length

Submit up to 15 seconds of video for the best custom flipbooks.

Content Tips

Motion is what makes flipbooks look amazing, so make sure there's plenty of action in the video clip you submit. Also, try to get up close. A long shot of your subject won't be nearly as interesting as a close-up in a flipbook... remember, flipbooks print smaller than it looks on your phone.

Shooting & Framing Tips

Shoot your flipbook video horizontally (landscape).  Frame your subject towards the right of the video - because the right side of the printed image is more visible (the side you flip), and the left side is less visible (inside the flipbook). Be sure to shoot in 4:3 instead of 16:9.

Lighting Tips

Sunlight is the best for illuminating your subjects, and videos shot indoors or at night tend to print blurry and very black in flipbooks, even if they look "pretty good" on your phone or camera.
